ADVIS has created the Coaching-on-Demand program for our Members, to provide independent school leaders and administrators with impactful, flexible coaching, whether for short- or long-term needs. In today’s demanding school environments, time constraints often limit the effectiveness of internal mentoring for administrators striving to enhance skills like organization, communication, time management, delegation, and team performance. The Coaching-on-Demand program is an ideal fit for deans, division heads, department chairs, and both new and seasoned heads—essentially anyone with team-leading responsibilities.
How It Works
Success in this program hinges on an administrator’s openness to coaching and the establishment of a trusting relationship with their coach. Coaches will work closely with both the recommending Head of School and the candidate to ensure each session is focused on targeted areas of improvement.
The program is structured in flexible, 3-month segments, with 60-minute coaching sessions every 3-4 weeks, totaling four meetings, conducted virtually or at a mutually convenient location. Additional segments can be scheduled as needed, with options for extended coaching at 6 or 9 months.
An initial 60-minute meeting sets the stage, outlining goals, identifying strategies, and scheduling future sessions. Interim check-ins are available as needed. Upon completion, an optional results assessment meeting can be scheduled with the mentee, coach, and Head of School for an additional fee.

high-quality, accessible coaching that directly addresses their unique professional challenges.
The application process is rolling.
STEP 1 - Nominator recommends candidate using the Nomination Form.
STEP 2 - Assigned coach* will contact Nominator to ensure common purpose.
STEP 3 - Assigned coach* will reach out to Mentee for introduction and to schedule first coaching session.
STEP 4 - $450 deposit is due before first session; Balance due at the end of each three-month period.
*Coaches are assigned are assigned based on availability and travel considerations.
